Awesome Truth (A Weekly Post)

I see this universe You made
It leaves me feeling so amazed.
Wherever I look I see Your art
Then faster pumps my beating heart–
My heart– which You have formed; as well
As every molecule and cell.

Then I open Exodus
And read of how You dwelt with us.

The King of all this world grand
Came down to live with mortal man?

This awesome truth amazes me
And fills me with humility.

Corresponds to Exodus 25:8

Outstretched Arm (A Weekly Post)

Down in Egypt, years ago
The Israelites were slaves
And by Yehovah’s outstretched arm
From bondage they were saved

And when Yeshua came to earth
His purpose was fulfilled;
Because He stretched His arms out wide
Yeshua saves us still

Corresponds to Exodus 6:6

I Will Be With You (A Weekly Post)

Moses trod the mountainside
Till from a bush Yehovah cried,
“Moses, Moses! I have seen
My people’s bondage and their grief.
I’m saving them from Egypt’s hand
To bring them to a spacious land.
I’ve seen the things their captors do,
So come now, I am sending you.”

Then Moses said to Elohim,
“Who am I to do these things?
These things You say, I cannot do.”

Yehovah said, “I will be with you.”

Dreams (Re-posted As a Weekly Post)

Did Sarah ever dream
Of having
A son at age ninety?

Did Jacob ever dream
Of seeing
His son Joseph’s offspring?

Did Moses ever dream
Of being
The man of Elohim?

Did David ever dream
Of rising
Up to be a king?

Did Mary ever dream
Of mothering
The Son of Elohim?

Could I ever dream
Of the things
Yah has planned for me?

Joseph (A Weekly Post)

All my life I’ve heard the tale
Of Joseph being put in jailThen all at once, God took that man
And made him rule o’er Egypt’s land

But though that happened long ago
God’s still the way He was to Joe
He’s never changed, He is the same
He still can save our souls today

Corresponds to Genesis 41
